PAPIER MACHE EASTER BASKET
Level: Easy
What you'll need:
- Happy Easter Papier Mache Basket and Egg set
- A selection of paints
- Paint brushes
- Mod Podge
- Happy Easter Tissue Paper Confetti Scatters Mixed Pastel Colours
- Newspaper
- Ribtex Easter Ribbon
Instructions:
Step 1- Paint your Papier Mache smaller egg in colour of your choice, pastels are a great choice for Easter. Allow base colour to dry, then add details with a smaller brush.
Step 2- Using Mod Podge and a wider brush, paint the surface area of the larger egg. Apply your tissue paper confetti, until all covered. Once dry you may wish to apply a second layer. Simply repeat this step.
Step 3- Tear up your newspaper into small sections and set aside. Cover small sections of your basket with Mod Podge and apply the bits of newspaper to cover the surface. You will need these to overlap, so ensure you are not leaving gaps. Allow to dry.
Step 4- Cut a length of ribbon, and tie into a bow onto the handle of your basket.
