INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1 - Open the wooden bead box, the beads are organized already by size, starting the in top left corner and moving right label the beads A - G. A will be your smallest round bead.

Step 2 - Start with the outer 300mm gold ring with tassels, cut 3 lengths in 25cm of Dusty Pink Cord, cut 1 length in 30cm in the same colour. Begin by unravelling each of the 25cm lengths into three sections and group together.

Step 3 - Unravel the 30cm length into three. Take one of the 30cm sections and separate in half - take one and fold this over the ring in half. Using the needle threader, thread the smallest bead (A) across both ends, pull to the top to secure below the ring.

Step 4 - Under the bead, separate section in half and tie the grouped 25cm lengths (9 sections from 3 lengths) folded in half and tie a double knot under this to secure.

Step 5 - Using a full 30cm section, wrap this around the 25cm sections below the double knot to create the head of the tassel, tie a double knot to secure and brush - your first tassel is complete.

Step 6 - Create a second tassel in the same manner, you will need to cut 3 lengths in 25cm but you can use the remainder of the 30cm length to create the head of the tassel.

Step 7 - Continue making tassels around the 300mm gold ring until you've made at least 30 tassels. Brush and trim as desired.

Step 8 - We will now work on the middle 250mm galvanized ring, cut 24 lengths in 45cm of Dusty Pink Cord. Cut 24 lengths in 45cm of Natural Cord. Using a Lark Head Knot secure to the ring alternating Dusty Pink and Natural.

Step 9 - Cut a mounting cord of 120cm in Dusty Pink, leave approx. 15cm at the start then using Horizontal Double Half Hitch Right work with every hanging cord all the way round (90 cords) - this will secure the cords to the ring. Secure the mounting cord with a double knot.

Step 10 - Unravel, brush and trim as desired, the mounting cord should blend into the fringe.

Step 11 - We will now work on the inner 175mm galvanized ring in the same manner as step 7-9. Cut 33 lengths in 45cm of Dusty Pink. Using a Lark Head Knot secure to the ring.

Step 12 - Cut a mounting cord of 90cm in Dusty Pink, leave approx. 15cm at the start then using Horizontal Double Half Hitch Right work with every hanging cord all the way round (66 cords) - this will secure the cords to the ring. Secure the mounting cord with a double knot.

Step 13 - Unravel, brush and trim as desired, the mounting cord should blend into the fringe.

Step 14 - Cut 2m of twine, thread through the 50mm ring and fold in half. Begin threading the beads in the below order, they need to go through both cords, a craft needle might help the process.

D - C - B - B - B - C - D - E - D - C - C - B - B - B - C - C - D - E - F - E - D - C - C - B - B - B - C - C - D - E - F - G

Step 15 - Secure to the outer gold ring between tassels with a double knot.

Step 16 - Repeat Step 14 twice for a total of 3 bead chains, secure to the outer gold ring with a double knot approx. 10 tassels between each chain, check and adjust to ensure this is balanced when hung.

Step 17 - With each set of twine, measure and tie and double knot approx. 10cm from the gold ring - you may need to adjust so loose is fine. Secure to the middle 250mm ring, between Lark Head Knots with a double knot, ensure there are 16 Lark Head Knots between each to ensure the spacing is right, check and adjust to ensure this is balanced when hung.

Step 18 - In a similar manner, with each set of twine, measure and tie and double knot approx. 10cm from the gold ring - you may need to adjust so loose is fine. Secure to the inner 175mm ring, between Lark Head Knots with a double knot, ensure there are 11 Lark Head Knots between each to ensure the spacing is right, check and adjust to ensure this is balanced when hung.

Step 19 - Brush and trim as desired and hang.
