CREPE PAPER BOWS

INSTRUCTIONS

EXTRA-LARGE BOWS

Step 1 - Cut 4 long lengths of the crepe paper folds (each roughly 1m long) and gently fold back in half to create 1 loop of the bow. Repeat this step with the other 3 pieces and secure the loops in place with double sided tape between the 2 layers. You should now have 4 loops.

Step 2 - Concertina fold the raw edges of each loop to create the gathered part of the bow, hold the folds in place by stapling the end.

Step 3 - Attach 2 sets of the folded loops together in the centre using the stapler again. And repeat again on the other 2 loops. You should now have 2 sets of bows.

Step 4 - To finish place both bows together in the centre, 1 slightly in front of the other to create the extra-large bow. Staple once again in the centre and wrap crepe streamer around the centre to cover the joins/folds in the bow, glue ends of streamer in place at the back of the bow to secure.

Step 5 - Use hot glue gun to glue rhinestones all over bow. Allow to cool before hanging.

LARGE BOWS

Step 6 - Cut 1 long length of the crepe paper folds, roughly 1m long. Gently fold the 2 ends of the paper into the centre to create the loops of the bow. Secure the loops in place with glue between the 3 layers.

Step 7 - Concertina fold the centre of the loops to create the gathered part of the bow, hold the folds in place by stapling the centre.

Step 8 - To finish wrap crepe streamer around the centre to cover the joins/folds in the bow, glue ends of streamer in place at the back of the bow to secure.

Step 9 - Use hot glue gun to glue rhinestones all over bow. Allow to cool before hanging.

SMALL BOWS

Step 10 - Cut 1 long length of the crepe paper folds, roughly 50cm long. Gently fold the 2 ends of the paper into the centre to create the loops of the bow. Secure the loops in place with glue between the 3 layers.

Step 11 - Concertina fold the centre of the loops to create the gathered part of the bow, hold the folds in place by stapling the centre.

Step 12 - To finish wrap crepe streamer around the centre to cover the joins/folds in the bow, glue ends of streamer in place at the back of the bow to secure.

Step 13 - Use hot glue gun to glue rhinestones all over bow. Allow to cool before hanging.
