ACRYLIC CAKE TOPPERS
LEVEL: EASY
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Crafters Choice Vinyl in Metallic Colours
- Crafters Choice Acrylic Cake Topper Round 2mm
- Semco Acrylic Paints in assorted colours
- Paint Brush
INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1. In your Cricut software, select or design the words you would like to cut from your vinyl.
Step 2. Make sure that you resize your design so that it will fit on your cake topper when cut.
Step 3. Take a piece of vinyl, place it on your cutting mat, and load it into your machine.
Step 4. Click the 'make it' button, and follow the instructions the Cricut provides.
Step 5. Take your cake topper and remove the protective film from both sides.
Step 6. Apply acrylic paint to the back of the cake toppers in any style you choose. We used paint splatters, abstract geometric shapes, and an ombre effect. Allow to dry completely.
Step 7. Remove your vinyl pieces from their mat, and adhere them to the front of the cake toppers.
