ACHIEVEMENT MEDALS

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1 - Take half a block of Sculpey and knead it until it is soft enough to work with.

Step 2 - On a piece of baking paper, roll Sculpey out to approximately 6mm thick.

Step 3 - Use your cookie or scone cutter to cut a circle from the rolled out Sculpey.

Step 4 - Use your knife to cut a small rectangle near the top of the circle. It should measure approximately 3mm x the width of your ribbon.

Step 5 - If you wish to stamp words into your medals do so now. We stamped 'gold', 'silver', and 'bronze', but you could stamp the names of party guests, or the events that the medals will be awarded for.

Step 6 - Repeat steps 1-5 until you have made as many medals as you wish.

Step 7 - Bake Sculpey according to the packet instructions and allow to cool completely.

Step 8 - Cut a length of ribbon for each medal and thread one through the rectangular hole in each medal.

Step 9 - Tie the ribbon ends in a knot so the medal can be hung or worn.
