GINGERBREAD APRON & JAR COVERS

INSTRUCTIONS

APRON

Step 1. Cut 1 rectangle out of Gingerbread Candy House Red fabric that is 40cm by 80cm.

Step 2. Cut 1 rectangle out of Gingerbread Man, Cream fabric that is 20cm by 80cm.

Step 3. Over lock or zig zag stitch over the edges of both pieces.

Step 4. Sew rectangles together with right sides facing in and a 1cm seam allowance. Once sewn press seam using an iron.

Step 5. Use iron to press 1cm seam allowance on sides of apron and 2cm hem. Pin in place and top stitch.

Step 6. Put your machine on the largest stitch length and stitch 2 lines of stitching across top of apron. Pull threads to gather fabric.

JAR COVERS

Step 1. Cut a circle out of quilting fabric.

Step 2. Use pinking shears to cut the edge of the circle.

Step 3. Using an elastic band to secure fabric to the lid of the mason jar.
