WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1. Outer panels:Cut 3 pieces each of Print and Plain fabrics, 13cm wide x 60cm long.

Lining:Cut one Piece 123 cm wide by 60cm long.

Step 2.Outer Panels: Checking for any pattern directions, and with right sides facing pin & sew alternating strips together along the 60cm side, using a 1.5cm seam allowance.

Step 3.With right sides facing, join the first and last strip together to form a tube, sew using a 1.5cm seam allowance.

Step 4.Lining: With right sides facing, pin the 60cm sides to form a tube, mark off a 15cm opening in the middle, sew using a 1.5cm seam allowance, leaving opening unsewn.

Step 5.Press seams flat.

Step 6.Both: Pin across the bottom (be sure to check and pattern directions) and with seams to the fold/s, then sew across using a 1.5cm seam allowance.

Step 7.Both: Fold corners to form a triangle, ensuring bottom seam is square with the help of a tape measure. Pin across this point where the width is 30cm.

Sew across and trim excess to make a 1.5cm seam allowance.

Step 8.Pin top opening of outer and lining together, ensuring seams match to corners made in Step 7. Sew around using a 1.5cm seam allowance.

Step 9.Turn to right side through lining opening and hand-sew opening using an invisible stitch. Pin top to ensure seam is fully out. Top stitch 2mm in from seam, and again 3cm from seam.

Step 10.Measure off the centre of each panel and place an eyelet centred between the 2 rows of stitching, following the directions on the pack (note, if the pack does not include the punch, cut the hole carefully a little smaller that the eyelet shaft).

Step 11.Thread your cord in and out of the eyelets and tie off ends.
