CHRISTMAS TABLE SETTING

INSTRUCTIONS

CUSHION COVERS

Step 1 - Cut out four strips for the ties 3 inches wide and 20 inches long. Fold the fabric in half (right sides together) and sew along the side, repeat on all four pieces. Once all four pieces are done, using a long needle or stick push the fabric through, iron them and your ties are done.

Step 2 - Measure your cushion insert and add 1 " to each side. Cut 2 pieces. Pin ties in place on each side of the wrong side of the cushion pieces. Check a chair to see the ties are in the correct place. Stitch in place 1cm in on the wrong side of the fabric. With right sides together stitch 2cm all away around the cushion cover leaving a gap big enough to push insert in or stuffing.

Step 3 - Turn cushion cover right side out and press. Insert cushion insert into small hole or stuffing. Hand stitch hole or machine stitch.

NAPKINS

Step 1 - Cut out the napkins. Measurements for each napkin is 21 inches by 21 inches.

Step 2 - Press .5cm around each edge of each napkin then press another .5cm around the edge.

Step 3 - Stitch close to the edge of each napkin where the pressed edge is.

Step 5 - Press each napkin.

TABLECLOTH

Step 1 - Measure your table. Please add 50cm to each side for the lap that folds over the ends of the table.

Step 2 - Cut out the fabric according to measurements above.

Step 3 - Press 1cm around each edge of the tablecloth. Then press another 1cm around the edge of the tablecloth.

Step 4 - Stitch close to the edge of the tablecloth where the pressed edge is.

Step 5 - Press the tablecloth.
