EASY BLOOM FLORAL CUPCAKES
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Creamy white decorator icing 4 lb tub
- Colour right food colouring system
- Favourite white cake recipe or mix
- 14 x 20 non-stick cooling rack
- Mini White Cupcakes Liners, 100CT
- #352 Lead Piping Tip
- Disposable Decorating Bags 50-ct
- Decorator Preferred 9" Angled Spatula
- 'Easy Blooms' Flower Piping Tips Set
- 16 inch Disposable piping bags
- 4 piece specialty icing tip set
- Recipe right non-stick mini muffin pan
Step 1 - Bake cupcakes - Prepare cake batter following recipe instructions. Bake and cool mini cupcakes in white cupcake liners.
Step 2 - Tint icing - Tint icing following colour combinations provided.
Batter Colours Tinted - Use Colour Right base colours and QuickCount colour formulas to tint batter in the following shades:
Dark Green - 1 cup white icing + 3Y + 13B + 1BR
Light Green - 1 cup white icing + 1B + 1Y + touch of BR
Purple - 1 cup white icing + 6CR + 10P + 2BK + 3B
Coral - 1 cup white icing + 5P + 2Y + 1R
Yellow - 1 cup white icing + 5Y + 1O
Pink - 1 cup white icing + 1BK + 12R + 36P
Peach - 1 cup white icing + 2R + 2Y
Turquoise - 1 cup white icing + 1Y + 13B
Red - 1 cup white icing + 18R + 10CR + 2P + touch of BK + touch of B
Light Purple - 1 cup white icing + 1 teaspoon purple icing
Light Coral - 1 cup white icing + 1 teaspoon coral icing
Light Pink - 1 cup white icing + 1 teaspoon pink icing
Step 3 - Prepare decorating bags - Prepare 12 in. decorating bag with tip 352. Using spatula, stripe bag with dark and light green icing. Prepare two 16 in. decorating bags separately with large rose and mum Easy Blooms tip. Prepare seven 12 in. decorating bags separately with small rose Easy Blooms tips and five metal specialty tips. Fill as desired with tinted icing, filling some with solid-colour icing and using spatula to stripe other bags with complementary colours.
Step 4 - Decorate cupcakes - Pipe flowers on cupcakes, piping one large flower or three smaller flowers on cupcakes. Using bag with 352 tip, pipe leaves around flowers.
