INSTRUCTIONS

Ribbon Bunting

Step 1 - Cut ribbon using scissors to varying lengths, the ribbons will be folded in half over the twine so ensure you double the finished measurement to allow for this. By cutting the ribbons to all different lengths it will make the bunting appear fuller.

Step 2 - Once all the ribbon is cut you are ready to assemble. Tie the twine between two hooks or chairs so that it is hanging, this will make it easier to assemble.

Step 3 - Fold ribbons in half and place over the twine, place a small dot of glue using the hot glue gun at the top of the ribbon under the twine and press ribbons together to secure in place.

Step 4 - Repeat this process for all the ribbons until you have filled the twine the whole way along.

Step 5 - Once all ribbons are glued on, secure 3M hooks to the wall and hang ribbon bunting in place.

Hessian Birthday Bunting

Step 1 - Use pencil to draw or outline the letters onto each bunting flag.

Step 2 - Use acrylic paint and small paint brush to paint the outline of each letter, then go back and fill in the letters with paint and a larger paint brush. Allow to dry before doing a second coat.

Step 3 - To create gold glitter dots, paint spots of PVA glue onto the hessian and sprinkle glitter over the glue. Allow to dry before shaking off the excess. Repeat across each flag of the bunting until it is completely decorated.

Step 4 - Once all paint and glitter is dry hang to display!
