INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1 - Cut 3 pieces of canvas out approx. 10"/25.5cm x 12"/30cm. Draw a grid on each canvas with the tailors chalk every 10 threads to the finished size.
Step 2 - Start filling out the colours and shapes following the graphs, every square = 1 thread. To fill the shapes start at one corner and make one stitch over 10 threads matching the drawn grid lines. Bring the needle back to the right side one thread back always to the left of the original, then make the second stitch over 11 threads. Continue in this way filling the shape.
Note: The stitches can be worked horizontally, vertically or diagonally to give the pictures texture. These pictures have the sky and ground worked horizontally with the buildings worked vertically with some diagonal to help with perspective as noted on the graphs.
