- Lion Brand® Cover Story Squish Stitch (Art. #561) #101 Sweet Pink 2 balls
- Stitch Markers
- Circular knitting needle size 50 (25 mm), 24 in. (60 cm) long
- Crochet hook size U-50 (25 mm) (for Handles)

Notes:
- Bag is worked in one piece in St st worked in the rnd (knit every st of every rnd), from the base upwards. Last rnd of Bag is purled to form top edge.
- Handles are crocheted directly onto top edge of Bag.
INSTRUCTIONS
Bag
With knitting needles and leaving a long beg tail for seaming lower edge, cast on 16 sts.
Place marker for beg of rnd. Join by working the first st on left needle with the working yarn from the right needle and being careful not to twist sts.
Rnds 1-10: Knit.
Rnd 11 (Top Edge): Purl.
Bind off.
Handles
Flatten Bag
Place 2 markers centered on front and back top edge, with 3 sts between markers.
With crochet hook, join yarn with slip st in one marked st of one side of top edge, chain 14, slip st in next marked st on same side of top edge to join end of handle.
Fasten off.
Rep to make a 2nd handle.
Finishing
Use your fingers to draw the beg yarn tail in and out through sts along lower edge to close the bottom of Bag.
Use your fingers to weave yarn ends in and out between sts to hide them.
