WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

Plush Scarf

  • 'Moda Vera' Chunky Plush 100g x 4 balls
  • 1 pair 6.50mm knitting needles or size required to give correct tension.
  • Scissors, yarn needle, tape measure

  • 'Moda Vera' Chunky Plush 100g x 4 balls
  • 1 pair 6.50mm knitting needles or size required to give correct tension.
  • 1.5m satin ribbon
  • Scissors, yarn needle, tape measure


MEASUREMENTS

Plush Scarf

Depth (approx): 50 cm
Length (approx): 110 cm

Plush Stole

Width (approx): 30 cm
Length (approx): 180 cm

TENSION

Plush Scarf

8 sts to 10cm in width over garter st, using 6.50mm needles.

INSTRUCTIONS

PLUSH SCARF

Using 6.50mm needles, cast on 24 sts.

Note - Join in new balls of yarn 2 sts in from side edge when required to avoid unsightly knots on edge of Scarf.

Knit in garter st (1st row is WS) until work measures approx 180cm from beg or until enough yarn remains to cast off, working last row on WS. Cast off loosely knitways.

FINISHING

DO NOT PRESS. Sew in ends towards centre of Scarf.

PLUSH STOLE

Note - Join in new balls of yarn 2 sts in from side edge when required to avoid unsightly knots on edge of Stole. Using 6.50mm needles, cast on 5 sts.

1st row (RS) - Knit.

2nd row - Inc knitways in each st to end ... 10 sts.

3rd row - Knit.

4th row - Inc knitways in each st to end ... 20 sts.

5th row - Knit.

6th row - Inc knitways in each st to end ... 40 sts. Cont in garter st without shaping until work measures 107 cm from beg, working last row on WS.

Next row - * K2tog, rep from * to end ... 20 sts.

Next row - Knit.

Next row - * K2tog, rep from * to end ... 10 sts.

Next row - Knit.

Next row - * K2tog, rep from * to end ... 5 sts.

Next row - Knit. Cast off loosely knitways.

FINISHING

DO NOT PRESS. Sew in ends towards centre of Stole. Cut 2 lengths of ribbon and sew one end of each length to cast on and cast off edges of Stole. Tie in a bow at centre to wear.
