Cutting Instructions

Panel Fabric

Carefully cut a 3" strip from each outside edge of the length of the 2m long panel. This strip will be used for the sides of the outside border of the quilt.

Carefully cut 16 panels to measure 9.5" square (to be used as the main fabric for each of the 16 blocks).

Continuous print fabric - Following the lines of the fabric, cut 2 x 3.5" wide strips from the length of the fabric. This will be used for the top and bottom of the outside border.

Background fabric

Cut 5 x strips across WOF 5.5" wide. Crosscut to yield 32 x 5.5" squares.

Cut 3 x strips across WOF 5" wide. Crosscut to yield 16 x 5" squares.

5 x assorted fabrics

Cut 1 x strip of each fabric across WOF 5.5" wide. Crosscut to yield 32 x 5.5" squares.

Step 1 - Rule a line diagonal across each of the background 5.5" squares.

Step 2 - Gather the 5.5" background and all 5.5" mixed fabric squares.
