  • 45cm - a selection of Katherie Quin fabrics
  • 85cm background fabric

Instructions

Step 1 - From each of the patterned fabrics cut:

  • 8 - 8 x 8inch squares
  • 72 - 4 x 4inch squares

Step 2 - With a washable or erasable marker draw a diagonal line on each of the 4 x 4inch squares (mark the fabric on the wrong side)

Step 3 - With 1 8x 8inch square place a 4 x 4inch square on 2 corners opposite each other and sew along the line.

Step 4 - When sewn press the fabric back forming a triangle. See image below.

Step 5 - Once all blocks have been completed trim under each triangle leaving a quarter inch past the seam to get rid of the bulk of the doubled fabric.

Step 6 - Lay the blocks and slowly join them together forming 4 blocks first and then joining all blocks together to complete quilt.

Step 7 - Sandwich and quilt.
