JOLLY AND JOY CHRISTMAS TREES & ANGELS

Instructions:

Step 1 - Run strips of double-sided tape on each cone vertically from top to bottom, evenly around.

Step 2 - Peel remaining non-stick covering off tape on first cone.

Step 3 - Using a variety of yarns and beginning at top of cone, wind yarn around cone taking care to cover all exposed foam. Fasten end of yarn in place with a pin, then glue in position and allow to dry. Remove pin.

Step 4 - Place a dot of glue on top of tree and pin a bead in place as pictured. Allow glue to dry and remove pin.

Step 5 - Repeat on remaining cones, to complete your Christmas Tree set.

Christmas Angels

What you'll need for

• A variety of "Jolly and Joy" yarns in mixed colours
• Papercraft 6mm double sided tape
• Craft glue
• 1 pack of Arbee Craft Sticks 10mm 11cm
• 1 pack of 6 Ribtex 2.5mm tassels in silver and gold
• Felt tip markers
• Pins

Instructions:

Wings

Step 1 - Glue two craft sticks together in centre to form an X shape for wings.

Step 2 - Run double side tape over both sides of sticks, leaving 1cm free on each end of sticks. Peel remaining non-stick covering off tape.

Step 3 - Wind your choice of yarn evenly around wings as pictured, taking care to cover sticks completely. Pin final thread in position on wrong side of wings.

Step 4 - Lay flat and place a drop of glue on end to fasten. Allow to dry and remove pin.

Body

Step 1 - Run double sided tape down both sides of a craft stick, beginning 2cm below top of stick and ending 1cm above bottom of stick.

Step 2 - Peel remaining non-stick covering off tape. Wind your choice of yarn evenly around stick, taking care to cover sticks completely.

Step 3 - Pin final thread in position on wrong side of body. Lay flat and place a drop of glue on end to fasten.

Step 4 - Allow to dry and remove pin. Place a liberal drop of glue on back and top of 2cm section left at top of stick.

Step 5 - Glue a tassel in position to create hair and hanging loop as pictured. Lay flat and allow to dry.

Step 6 - Using felt tip markers, draw on face. Place a liberal drop of glue in centre of wings and position body on top. Lay flat to dry.
