Instructions

Step 1 - Assemble the timber caddy and glue together with a hot glue gun.

Step 2 - Using the pencil, plan out your design on a piece of paper. Once you are happy with the final design lightly draw it onto the canvases. Next, plan out which colours will make up each section and form a list of layers for each colour starting from the bottom to the top for each canvas. This will help ensure you are working in the right order when it comes to painting.

Step 3 - Begin painting the timber starting with which ever colour will be the bottom layer of your design on each piece. Fill in the larger parts of your design with the large paint brush and use the smaller brush for the finer details and outlines. Allow paint to dry before painting the next colour layer.

Step 4 - Continue this process of painting one layer at a time across each piece until all your stationary has been painted.

Step 5 - Once all the paint is dry you can paint extra fun bits on top of your design to add some interest. We painted flower, circles and leaves. Allow all paint to dry before adding stationary and using.

Step 6 - Repeat steps with hexagon placemat, glue your letter only once the paint is dry.
