WHAT YOU'LL NEED

• 1 x 50g ball each of Moda Vera Gelato- White (M)
• Small amount of Moda Vera Gelato in contrast colour (C1)
• 15cm Embroidery hoop
• 3.50mm crochet hook
• 5 beads
• Scissors
• Yarn needle

ABBREVIATIONS

C1 = Colour 1,M = Main Colour,ch = chain,dc = double crochet,Rnd = Round,sl st = slip st,sp = space,st/s = stitch/es,tr = treble.

TO MAKE POPCORN STITCH

Yoh, pull up lp in next st, yoh, pull through 1st 2 lps, (yoh, pull up lp in same st, yoh, pull through 1st 2 lps) twice, yoh, pull through all 5 lps.

Remove outer ring of embroidery hoop.

Centre

Using 3.50mm hook and C1, work 4ch, join with a sl st into 1s ch to form ring.
Rnd 1: 3ch, 11tr in ring, 1ch, join with a sl st into top of 3-ch.
Rnd 2: Change to M, 3ch, yoh, pull up lp in next st, yoh, pull through 1st 2 lps, yoh, pull up lp in same st, yoh, pull through 1st 2 lps, yoh, pull through all 4 lps, 2ch, *popcorn st in next sp, 2ch to end, sl st to top of 3-ch (12 popcorns).
Rnd 3: 3ch (5tr, 2ch) in each sp around, sl st into top of 3-ch.
Rnd 4: Sl st across to 1st 2-ch sp (2tr, 2ch, 2tr) in same sp, *2ch, (2tr, 2ch, 2tr) in next 2-ch sp,repeat from * to end, 2ch, sl st into 1st tr.
Rnd 5: Sl st across to 1st 2-ch sp, 6ch, 3tr in next ch-sp, *3ch, 1tr in next ch-sp, 3ch, 3tr in next ch-sp, repeat from * to end, sl st into 3rd ch of 6-ch.
Rnd 6: To attach to hoop, *8ch, loop ch around hoop, 1dc in next sp, repeat from * to end, sl st into 1st dc and fasten off (see picture).

To make tails

Work 20ch, lp yarn through embroidery hoop and sl st incorporating the hoop.
Work 2dc in each ch back to the start. Cut yarn leaving a 50cm tail. Thread a bead onto the yarn and firmly secure ends using a yarn needle.
Make 4 more tails varying the length to suit (see picture).

Optional

To hang the dream catcher, work 30ch and fasten off. Loop through the top of the hoop, tie ends and trim.
