GRADIENT SCARF AND BEANIE
LEVEL: EASY
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
Beanie
- Value Ball Gradients Blue Tones 50g x 1 ball each 5 Contrast Colours (C1-cobalt), (C2-mid blue), (C3-denim), (C4-pale blue), (C5-cream).
- A 5mm circular knitting needle (40cm long) and 1 set 5mm double pointed knitting needles or size required to give correct tension.
- Scissors, yarn needle, tape measure
Infinity Ombre Scarf
- Value Ball Gradients Ocean 50g x 1 ball each 5 Contrast Colours (C1-cream), (C2-mint), (C3-aqua), (C4-jade), (C5-moonlight).
- A 5mm circular needle (80cm long) or size required to give correct tension.
- Scissors, yarn needle, tape measure

MEASUREMENTS
Beanie
To Fit Head (approx) 56cm
Infinity Ombre Scarf
Depth (approx) 45cm
Circumference (approx) 100cm
TENSION
Beanie
18 sts and 24 rows to 10cm over stocking st, using 5mm needles.
Infinity Ombre Scarf
17 sts to 10 cm in width over moss st, using 5mm needles.
BEANIE 1
Using 5mm circular needle and C1, cast on 90 sts.
Note - Join into a round, taking care not to twist sts.
1st round - K3, P3, rep from to end.
Rep 1st round until work measures 5cm from beg. Break off C1.
Using C2, rep 1st round for 5cm. Break off C2.
Using C3, rep 1st round for 5cm. Break off C3.
Using C4, rep 1st round for 5cm. Break off C4.
Using C5, rep 1st round once.
Note - Change to double pointed needles as required.
SHAPE CROWN
Using C5, Next round - K3, P2tog, P1, rep from to end � 75 sts.
Next round - K3, P2, rep from to end.
Rep last round once more.
Next round - K1, K2tog, P2, rep from to end � 60 sts.
Next round - K2, P2, rep from to end.
Rep last round once more.
Next round - K2, P2tog, rep from to end � 45 sts.
Next round - K2, P1, rep from to end.
Next round - K2tog, P1, rep from to end � 30 sts.
Next round - K1, P1, rep from to end.
Next round - K2tog, rep from to end � 15 sts.
Break off yarn leaving a long end. Run end through rem sts, draw up tightly and fasten off securely.
BEANIE 2
Using 5mm circular needle and C5, cast on 90 sts.
Note - Join into a round, taking care not to twist sts.
1st round - K3, P3, rep from to end.
Rep 1st round until work measures 5cm from beg. Break off C5.
Using C4, rep 1st round for 5cm. Break off C4.
Using C3, rep 1st round for 5cm. Break off C3.
Using C2, rep 1st round for 5cm. Break off C2.
Using C1, rep 1st round once.
Note - Change to double pointed needles as required.
SHAPE CROWN
Using C1, Next round - K3, P2tog, P1, rep from to end � 75 sts.
Next round - K3, P2, rep from to end.
Rep last round once more.
Next round - K1, K2tog, P2, rep from to end � 60 sts.
Next round - K2, P2, rep from to end.
Rep last round once more.
Next round - K2, P2tog, rep from to end � 45 sts.
Next round - K2, P1, rep from to end.
Next round - K2tog, P1, rep from to end � 30 sts.
Next round - K1, P1, rep from to end.
Next round - K2tog, rep from to end � 15 sts.
Break off yarn leaving a long end. Run end through rem sts, draw up tightly and fasten off securely.
FINISHING
DO NOT PRESS. Sew in all ends neatly.
Make 2 large pom poms using a mix of the remaining colours and attach a pom pom securely to top of each beanie as pictured.
INFINITY OMBRE SCARF
Using 5mm circular needle and C1, cast on 170 sts.
Note - Join into a round, taking care not to twist sts.
1st round (RS) - K1, P1, rep from to end.
2nd round (RS) - P1, K1, rep from to end.
Last 2 rounds form moss st.
Cont in moss until work measures 9cm from beg. Break off C1.
Using C2, cont in moss st for 9cm. Break off C2.
Using C3, cont in moss st for 9cm. Break off C3.
Using C4, cont in moss st for 9cm. Break off C4.
Using C5, cont in moss st for 9cm. Break off C5.
Using C5, cast off loosely in moss st.
FINISHING
DO NOT PRESS. Sew in all ends neatly on WS.
