Create fuzzy and funky colour-blocked textiles with this range of Plain 148 cm Faux Craft Fur Fabrics. Faux fur is fantastic for making garments such as jackets, vests and costumes. It can also be used in toy making, soft furnishing and staging projects. Faux fur offers the funky textures and prints of our fluffy friends, all while being cruelty-free. This material is composed of 80% acrylic and 20% polyester. It is supplied in a 148 cm width and sold by the metre. Spotlight has a fabulous selection of faux furs for creating personalised apparel. Faux fur should be cut from the back (wrong side) and always cut the backing fabric, not the pile.
Only use sharp scissors.
Make small cuts, not long or large cuts, to ensure you do not cut through the pile.
Ensure the nap follows the same direction when cutting and sewing.
Use a size 14 needle and a walking foot.
