The Hand Dyed Tie Dye 148 cm Cotton Elastane Fabric is a groovy colourful choice to integrate into your next handmade garment project. Cotton elastane is the perfect midweight basic stretch cotton for garments such as t-shirts, intimates, loungewear and baby apparel. The combination of cotton and elastane makes the perfect fabric for clothing that is soft to touch, has stretch-factor, and is durable. This fabric has been made using premium cotton and is slightly combed to enhance the softness. This material is composed of 95% cotton and 5% elastane and is supplied in a 148 cm width. Additional Information: Jersey will curl at the edges when cut.
Relax fabric and lay flat when sewing.
Use a stretch "ST" or ball point "B" sewing needle 80/12 or 90/14 for best results.
An overlocker is ideal for securing seams.
Silicone tape or seam tape can also be beneficial when securing seams and maintaining garment shape.
