Woven Rayon fabrics at Spotlight is a dressmakers haven! Choose from the gorgeous prints inspired by the nature and start your project! Made from 100% viscose, the Daisy Field Printed Rayon comes with a soft handle and beautiful billowy drape. This fabric is ideal for flowing styles such as blouses, long maxi dresses and palazzo pants.

Rayon can be a little tricky to cut and sew due to the nature of the fibre.
Pre-wash and dry your fabric and iron on a low heat on the reverse prior to cutting and sewing.
You will need to be careful and avoid fabric shifting when cutting rayon, and pins and weights can be useful.
It is suggested to use a cutting board or flat surface and rotary cutter when cutting rayon.
Use super find sharp pins, a size 20 is ideal, and a 70/10 or 65/9 machine needle when sewing rayon and polyester thread.
Ensure not to stretch push or pull the fabric when sewing. French seams are ideal for finishing rayon.
Very lightweight interfacings only are suitable if interfacing is required.
