FELT PIRATE FINGER PUPPETS
LEVEL: EASY
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- Templates
- Scissors
- Felt fabric in various colours
- Pen
- Hot glue gun
- Glue sticks
- Embroidery thread
- Needle
INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1 - Trace around templates lightly using a pen. You can mix and match colours of felt and the number of facial templates to create different looking characters.
Step 2 - Cut out all your pieces from felt using scissors. Group all the pieces for each character together ready to assemble.
Step 3 - Using the hot glue gun, glue on each piece of felt to the finger puppet base until your character is complete. Repeat this with each puppet.
Step 4 - To finish, pair up the back base pieces with the completed fronts of each puppet and, using a needle and embroidery thread, stitch together with a running stitch. Stitch the entire way around, 0.5 mm in from the edge leaving the base open. Repeat for each character until all your puppets are complete.
