Brighten your handmade garments with this beautifully eccentric Floral G10 Printed 138 cm Cumbria Crepe Fabric. This stretch crepe fabric is great for dresses, skirts and tops and for use as an overlay fabric on garments. Crepe has fantastic drape and a rough texture. This material is composed of 97% polyester and 3% elastane. It is supplied in a 138 cm width and sold by the metre. Use fine pins for holding your pattern pieces together.
Use a stretch "ST" or ball point "B" sewing needle 80/12 or 90/14 and polyester thread to get best results when sewing.
A long zig zag stitch can be beneficial in maximising the stretch qualities of your finished garment.
An overlocker is ideal for securing seams.
