Poster paper can be made from either natural (cotton, wood) or synthetic materials, and can be matte, semi-glossy or fully glossy.

How thick is poster paper?

Poster paper can be between 0.2mm and 0.8mm, as it needs to be strong enough to stand up straight and not crumple under its own weight. Printable poster paper will be on the thinner side so it can go safely through your printer.

What weight is poster paper?

Poster paper tends to have around 120 to 250gsm, depending on if it's to be hung on a teenager's bedroom wall or used as a promotional poster on a city wall.
