FLASHING LIGHTS NECKPIECES

Flashing Lights Neckpieces Project

Level: Easy

Sculptural Neckpiece

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • paper plate
  • tissue confetti circles multi-coloured (extra large)
  • foil confetti circles (mini)
  • glitzy paper
  • glue stick
  • scissors

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1. Cut vertically along the ridge of the paper plate, to the outside of the circle line that makes the middle of the plate. Cut out the centre of the paper plate, using the circular indentation of the plate as a guide.

(the circle you have cut out can be used to make the medallions)

Step 2. Using the materials provided, it is up to you how you want to decorate your medallion.

Apply small areas of glue to the plate and press on the confetti to stick them down. Cover the plate in your design. You can cover the whole surface, or leave white space - it's up to you! You can overlap the confetti to make interesting colours and patterns if you like. If your confetti goes over the edge, you can fold and stick it to the back to make a round edge, or leave for a scalloped edge

Step 3. To add more decoration, cut out small shapes from the glitter card and stick on with glue.

Step 4. Carefully glue the foil confetti to add the final layer of decoration. Make sure this is pressed down firmly so it doesn't fall off.
