OMBRE SHEERS

LEVEL: EASY

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• Jacquard iDye Fabric Dye Ipoly Blue
• Stovetop
• Large stainless steel pot
• Breamlea easy sheer
• Hanging rack

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1. Fill a stainless steel pot with just enough water for the fabric to move freely. Turn heat on high.

Step 2. Add the iDye Poly soluble dye packet and iDye Color Intensifier to water and stir until dissolved.

Step 3. Place the bottom half of the sheers into the pot and hang the remainder of the sheers above the stove. Set timer for 15minutes.

Step 4. After 15 minutes lift the sheers out of the water slightly to create the next level of deeper colour. Set a timer for another 15 minutes.

Step 5. Once again when the time is up lift the sheers out of the water, leaving the last section of the sheers in the pot. This will create the darkest shade of the ombre. Set another timer for 15 minutes.

Step 6. When timer is done, remove the sheers carefully from the water and hang over clothes line outside to dry.

Step 7. Once dry, wash the garment with a mild detergent and allow to dry before hanging.
