WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- 'Abbey Road' Truly Madly Mohair 50g:2 (2-3-3) balls 1st Colour (C1) Peach, 1 (2-2-2) 2nd Colour (C2) Green, 1 (2-2-2) 3rd Colour (C3) Watermelon, 2 (2-2-3) 4th Colour (C4) Navy, 1 (2-2-2) 5th Colour (C5) Silver & 1 (2-2-2) 6th Colour (C6) Grey.
- 1 pair each 8mm and 7mm knitting needles and an 8mm circular knitting needle (60cm long) and a 7mm circular knitting needle (40cm long), or sizes required for correct tension.
- 4 stitch-holders.
- Scissors, yarn needle, tape measure.

TENSION
11 sts x 14 rows to 10cm over stocking st, using 8mm needles.
INSTRUCTIONS
BACK AND FRONT (both alike)
Using pair of 8mm needles and C1, cast on 51 (57-63-67) sts.
BEG LOWER BAND
1st row (RS) - K2, * P1, K1, rep from * to last st, K1.
2nd row - K1, * P1, K1, rep from * to end.
Last 2 rows form rib.
Work a further 2 rows rib ... 4 rows rib in all.
BEG STRIPE PATT
Work 40 rows stocking st in stripes of 4 rows C2, 4 rows C3, 4 rows C1, 4 rows C4, 4 rows C5, 4 rows C3, 4 rows C6, 4 rows C5, 4 rows C2 and 4 rows C4, thus ending with a purl row.
SHAPE RAGLAN ARMHOLES
Using C6, cast off 2 sts at beg of next 2 rows ... 47 (53-59-63) sts.
Work 2 rows C6, dec one st at each end of first row ... 45 (51-57-61) sts.
Using C1, dec one st at each end of next row, then in foll alt row once ... 41 (47-53-57) sts.
Next row (WS) - Purl, dec 0 (2-0-0) sts evenly across ,,, 41 (45-53-57) sts.
Last 48 rows form stripe patt.
Leave rem sts on a stitch-holder for Yoke.
SLEEVES
Using pair of 7mm needles and C1, cast on 27 (27-29-29) sts.
BEG CUFF
Work 8 rows rib as for lower band of Back, inc 4 (6-6-8) sts evenly across last row ... 31 (33-35-37) sts.
Change to 8mm needles.
BEG STRIPE PATT
Work 60 rows stocking st in stripes of 4 rows C5, 4 rows C2, 4 rows C4, 4 rows C6, 4 rows C1, 4 rows C2, 4 rows C3, 4 rows C1, 4 rows C4, 4 rows C5, 4 rows C3, 4 rows C6, 4 rows C5, 4 rows C2 and 4 rows C4, AT SAME TIME, inc one st at each end of 5th row, then in every foll 22nd (14th-10th-8th) row 2 (3-4-5) times ... 37 (41-45-49) sts.
SHAPE RAGLAN
Using C6, cast off 2 sts at beg of next 2 rows ... 33 (37-41-45) sts. Work 6 rows stocking st in stripes of 2 rows C6 and 4 rows C1, dec one st at each end of first row, then in every foll alt row until 27 (31-35-39) sts rem.
Leave rem sts on a stitch-holder for yoke.
YOKE
Slip all sts from stitch-holders onto circular 8mm needle in the foll order so RS is facing for first row - Back, Right Sleeve, Front, Left Sleeve ... 136 (152-176-192) sts.
Knit 8 rounds in stripes off 4 rows C2 and 4 rows C3.
Using C1, 9th round (RS) - * K6, K2tog, rep from * to end ... 119 (133-154-168) sts.
Knit 7 rows in stripes of 3 rows C1 and 4 rows C4.
Using C5, 17th round - * K5, K2tog, rep from * to end ... 102 (114-132-144) sts
Knit 3 rows.
Using C3, 21st row - * K4, K2tog, rep from * to end ... 85 (95-110-120) sts.
Knit 1 (1-3-3) row/s.
Keeping stripes correct as for Back and Front for rem, Next round - * K3, K2tog, rep from * to end ... 68 (76-88-96) sts.
Sizes L and XL only - Knit 1 round.
Next round - * K2, K2tog, rep from * to end ... (66-72) sts.
All sizes - Using same colour from previous row, knit, dec 10 (16-6-8) sts evenly around ... 58 (60-60-64) sts.
BEG COLLAR
1st round - * K1, P1, rep from * to end.
Last round forms rib for rem.
Work 3 rounds rib.
Change to 7mm circular needle.
Work a further 12 rows in stripes.
Cast off loosely in rib.
FINISHING
DO NOT PRESS.
