WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- '4 Seasons' Flinders 50g x 2 (3-3) balls 1st Colour (C1-blue), 2 (3-3) balls 2nd Colour (C2-grey), 1 ball 3rd Colour (C3- navy), 2 (3-3) balls 4th Colour (C4-white)
- 1 pair 4mm knitting needles or size required to give correct tension
- Scissors
- Yarn needle
- Tape measure

TENSION
21 sts and 29 rows to 10cm over stocking st, using 4mm needles.
INSTRUCTIONS
BACK AND FRONT (both alike)
Using 4mm needles and C1, cast on 101 (112- 122) sts.
Beg Side Splits - Knit in garter st (1st row is WS) until work measures 3cm from beg, working last row on WS.
Next row (RS) - Knit.
Next row - K7, purl to last 7 sts, K7.
Rep last 2 rows until work measures 12 (12.5-13) cm from beg, working last row on WS, thus completing side splits.
Work in stocking st across all sts (beg with
a knit row) until work measures 13 (13.5-14) cm from beg, ending with a purl row. Break off C1.
Beg Stripes - Note - When working in stripes carry colour not in use loosely along side edge of work until required again, except when working armhole openings.
Using C2, work 2 rows stocking st.
Using C3, work 2 rows stocking st.
Rep last 4 rows until work measures approx 26 (27-28) cm from beg, ending with a 2 rows of C3. Break off C3.
Using C2, work in stocking st until work measures 39 (40.5-42) cm from beg, ending with a purl row. Break off C2.
Beg Stripes - Using C1, work 2 rows stocking st.
Using C4, work 2 rows stocking st.
Rep last 4 rows until work measures 43 (44.5-46) cm from beg, working last row on WS.
Beg Armhole Openings - Tie a coloured thread at each end of last row to mark beg of armhole openings as there is no armhole shaping.
Keeping stripes correct, Next row (RS) - Knit.
Next row - K7, purl to last 7 sts, K7.
Keeping last 2 rows and stripes correct, cont until work measures approx 52 (54- 56) cm from beg, ending with 2 rows of C1.
Break off C1.
Using C4 for rem, Next row - Knit.
Next row - K7, purl to last 7 sts, K7.
Rep last 2 rows until work measures 62 (64.5-67) cm from beg, working last row on WS.
Knit in garter st across all sts for 3cm, working last row on WS.
Cast off loosely knitways.
FINISHING
DO NOT PRESS. Using mattress st, join cast off edges together at shoulders seams, leaving a 20 (22-24) cm opening at centre for neck. Join side seams together to coloured threads, leaving side splits open and matching colour changes.
