- 1 pair each of 3.75mm, 4.00mm and a set of 3.75mm knitting needles or size needed for correct tension

Change to 4.00mm needles and cont in rib, working extra sts into rib as they become available, inc one st at each end of next and foll 4th rows until there are 67 sts. Work 1 rows rib.
BEG STRIPE PATT
Working in stripe patt as given for back and front for rem, AT SAME TIME inc one st at each end of next 3rd and foll 4th rows until there are 101 sts. Work 7 rows stripe patt.
SHAPE RAGLAN
Keeping stripe patt correct for rem, cast off 5 sts at beg of next 2 rows ... 91 sts.
1st row - (RS) K2, sl 1, K1, psso, patt to last 4 sts, K2tog, K3.
2nd row - P2, P2tog, rib to last 4 sts, P2tog tbl, P2.
3rd row - K2, sl 1, K1, psso, rib to last 4 sts, K2tog, K2.
4th row - P2, rib to last 2 sts, P2 ... 85 sts. Rep last 4 rows 10 ... 25 sts.
Next row - K2, sl 1, K1, psso, rib to last 4 sts, K2tog, K2.

NECKBAND
DO NOT PRESS. We recommend using mattress stitch to sew up your garment. Join raglan seams, noting that tops of sleeves form part of neckband. With RS facing, using a set of 3.75mm needles and MC, and beg at left back raglan seam, knit across 19 sts from left sleeve stitch holder, knit up across 14 sts evenly along left side of front neck shaping, rib across 27 sts from front neck stitch holder, knit up 14 sts evenly along right side of front neck shaping, knit across 19 sts along right sleeve stitch holder, then knit across 43 on back neck stitch holder... 136 sts.
1st round - * K1, P1, rep from * to end. Rep 1st round until Neckband measures 3cm from beg.
Cast off very loosely in rib.
FINISHING
Join side and sleeve seams. Sew in ends.
