FLEECE SNOWMAN TOYS

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1 - Cut 2 rectangles out of the white fleece - 35cm x 27cm. You will need 1 for each snowman.

Step 2 - Fold the rectangle in half along the shorter side (27cm) with right sides facing in and pin.

Step 3 - Use the sewing machine to sew along the pinned 35cm edge with a 1cm seam allowance, this will turn your fabric into a cylinder/tube.

Step 4 - Use a needle and thread to sew a running stitch around the circumference of the base of your fabric. Pull the thread tight to close off one end of the tube. Tie in a knot to secure.

Step 5 - You can now begin to build your snow man. Fill the tube with a handful of hobby fill and stuff it right down to the base and fill it out until you are happy with the shape of the base.

Step 6 - Again using the needle and thread, complete another running stitch along the circumference of the fabric and pull tight to finish the bottom snowball shape. Tie off in a knot to secure.

Step 7 - Repeat Step 5 and 6 by filling the fabric with more hobby fill (but a little less than the snowball below) and sewing/tying off to create the middle of the snowman.

Step 8 - Create one last snowball for the head of your snow man following the same steps again using a little less hobby fill. Then hand stitch and tie off to finish the last snow ball.

Step 9 - Use scissors to snip off any excess fabric at the top of your snow man.

Step 10 - Cut shapes out of felt to create their faces, arms and buttons and any other features you would like to add.

Step 11 - To finish use the hot glue gun to secure your felt decorations onto your snow people!
