FELT DECOFOAM CHRISTMAS TREES

INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1 - Cut your felt into strips 4-5cm wide

Step 2 - Cut each strip into small triangles by cutting on alternating diagonal angles

Step 3 - Glue triangle pieces on to the foam trees, starting from the bottom and placing them next to each other in a circle to create one layer.

Step 4 - Once you have completed one circle around the tree, use a bricklay pattern and place the next piece above the first layer in between two pieces to cover up the gap.

Step 5 - Continue to glue pieces around in a circle creating layers while moving up toward the top

Step 6 - When you reach the top of the cone, glue a round piece to cover the foam first. Then continue using triangles all the way to the top until they join each other to create a tip.
