LLAMA SOFTIE
Level: Easy
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Assorted coloured felt
- Template
- Fabric pen or HB pencil is fine
- Scissors
- Black and white embroidery thread
- Sewing needle
- Hobby fill or wadding
INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1 - Trace out your Llama on your main felt colour using the template provided and a fabric pen (or HB pencil is fine on light colours).
Step 2 - Cut out the Llama inside the lines
Step 3 - Repeat steps 1 and 2 again so that you now have 2 Llama shapes.
Step 4 - Choose one of your Llama's to be the front and then proceed to mark out your face with a fabric pen and stich with black thread.
Step 5 - Work out your Llama's decorations (I.e bunting, flowers for hair, a saddle for example) and stitch onto the front Llama piece.
Step 6 - You can now place your 2 Llama pieces together with the face/decorations on the inside.
Sew around the edge of the Llama all the way leaving a 3cm hole to allow you to turn your Llama inside out.
Step 7 - Once you have turned your Llama inside out you can now stuff with wadding and stitch the small hole closed.
