POPLIN FABRIC MASKS
Level: Easy
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- 1m Easter themed poplin fabric (enough for the whole family)
- Scissors
- Pins
- Elastic (12cm x 2 for kid's masks and 15cm x 2 for adults)
INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1 - Download template and cut out 2 pieces for each layer of fabric. You should have 6 pieces in total.
Step 2 - Match the right sides of each layer together and sew along the curved edge with a 1cm seam allowance. Snip into the curved seam allowance with scissors.
Step 3 - Press the seams of each layer to one side and top stitch down. Repeat on each layer.
Step 4 - Layer the masks with right sides facing in. Pin and sew along the top and bottom edges with a 1cm SA.
Step 5 - Turn the mask right side out. Fold under the side edges 1cm and pin in place. Place the elastic into the side seams.
Step 6 - Top stitch around entire mask edge to close side seams and secure the elastic in place.
Step 7 - Repeat in different sizes to create Easter masks for the whole family!
