FLANNELETTE AND MINKY BLANKETS
Level: Easy
What you'll need:
- 112cm wide Printed Flannelette 50cm
- 150cm wide Minky Dot Fabric 110cm
- Sewing Machine, scissors, needle and thread, tape measure

Width (approx) 90 cm
Length (approx. ) 100 cm
INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1 - Straighten the cut edges of Minky Dot so that the fabric width measures 103cm x 150cm including side seam allowances of 1.5cm. With right side together fold in half by bringing the 2 selevdge edges together.
Cut the Flannelette to a rectangle 45cm x 103cm.
Step 2 -Fold the flannelette in half longways wrong side together and press, then press in the seam allowances longways as a sewing guide. Open out for sewing.
Step 3 -Pin, then sew the flannelette along both short sides of the Minky Dot using the pressed seam allowance as a guide, right sides together.
Step 4 -Sew the 2 side seams leaving enough of a gap on one side to turn the blanket to the right side, hand sew gap and press.
