Decorating the cones

  • 'Robert's' Chocolate Buttons
  • 'Robert's' Flavoured Oil - Orange, Peppermint or Strawberry
  • Waffle Cones - Store Bought
  • 'Robert's' Traditional Party Mix Sprinkles
  • 'Robert's' Party Magic Mix Sprinkles
  • 'Robert's' Eye Droppers
  • 1 Flat Tray Lined with Baking Paper
  • 'Robert's' Silver Ice cream Sleeves

Filling the cake cones

  • Sprinkle Dipped Waffle Cones
  • 'Roberts' Silky Icing
  • Chocolate Ganache - Optional
  • 'Roberts' Chocolate or Vanilla Cake -cut into small cubes
  • Colourful Chocolate Balls
  • 'Roberts' Plain Round Tip Nozzle Set


Decorating the cones

Step 1 - Pour each Sprinkle mix into a separate bowl.

Step 2 - Melt the buttons according to the instructions on the back of the packet.

Flavour the melted buttons with drops of Flavoured Oil.

Our Flavored Oils are highly concentrated. When adding these to chocolate be sure you start with a couple of drops, set a spoonful of chocolate and taste before adding more.

Step 3 - Make sure the melted buttons are not too hot before dipping.

Dip the top of the Waffle Cone into the melted buttons then tap off any excess chocolate. Next dip the cone into the sprinkle mix.

Place each cone upside down onto a flat tray lined with baking paper.

When the chocolate has fully set, fill the cone with ice-cream and decorate with a colourful chocolate ball.

Serve immediately.

Waffle Cones come in different sizes, the Silver Ice cream Sleeves can be cut to fit all size cones.

Filling the cake cones

Step 1 - Prepare the Waffle cones as per Steps 1 - 3 above.

Step 2 - Prepare the Silky Icing using the instructions on the back of the packet.

Spoon the icing into the pre prepared piping bag fitted with the nozzle.

Step 3 - Pour a small amount of Ganache in the base of each cone. Allow to set.

Next fill each cone with cake cubes. Pipe a generous amount of icing on top.

Decorate with a colourful chocolate ball.

Serve immediately.
