- Color Right Performance Color System
- White Ready-To-Use Decorator Icing
- Favorite Cake Mix or Recipe
- 9 in. Straight Spatula
- Tip: 2A
- 11 in. Straight Spatula
- 8 in. Round pan
- 12 in. Disposable Decorating Bags
INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1 Tint your icing. Use Colour Right base colours and Quick Count colour formulas to tint icing in the following shades:
- 8 B + 2 Y = Teal
- 16 O + 16 Y + 2 R = Orange
- 16 Y + 1 O = Yellow
- 30 P = Pink
Step 2
Bake and cool a 4" high, 8" round cake. Stack and ice with a crumb coat on sides and a nice, thick swirl on top.
Step 3
Fill decorating bags fitted tip 2A.
Step 4
Starting at the bottom of the cake pipe a vertical row of dots. Alternate icing colours and separate each colour with a white dot. "Pull" your dots with a spatula.
Step 5
To achieve the graduated diagonal ring of colours, start the second row of dots using the icing colour second from the top of the first row. Repeat. Continue around cake using the previous rows second icing colour for each new row.
