LEVEL: EASY
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- 2x Semco Single Stretch Canvas 8x10in
- Jo Sonja Paints in Pine Green, Indian Yellow, Unbleached Titanium, Napthol Crimson, Burnt Sienna & Fawn
- Paint Brushes
- Black Marker
- Ruler
INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1 - Start by outlining an image on the canvas using pencil. Be gentle when sketching as not to damage the canvas. You can use an eraser to correct your sketch.
Step 2 - Begin by painting in the sky and foreground. We mixed Burnt Sienna and Fawn to create different hues for the hills.
Step 3 - For the sky, we combined Unbleached Titanium & Napthol Crimson to make a light pink. Let the painting dry entirely before starting the background.
Step 4 - For the sun, we used Indian Yellow and for the tree, we used Pine Green.
Step 5 - To create the sun rays, we went in with a black marker and a ruler for precise lines.
Step 6 - We recommend going back with more paint to clean up smudges or lines.
Step 7 - Let the painting dry for a day before displaying your new art work.
