TIMBER BEACH SIGN
LEVEL: EASY
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- 3 x Francheville timber signs
- Arcyrlic paints - white, blue and black.
- Sponge
- Water
- Small paint brush
- Wooden beads x 4
INSTRUCTIONS:
Step 1 - Pour a small amount of paint onto each timber panel and using water and the sponge spread the paint across the timber to give a washed effect. You can mix the white and blue beforehand or while it's on the timber with the sponge. Leave to dry.
Step 2 - Once the paint is dry on each timber panel use a pencil to light draw on your letters to spell out a saying of your choice. Use different fonts on each one to create an interesting design.
Step 3 - Using the fine paint brush and the black and white paint, paint over your pencil design carefully.
Step 4 - Once all the paint is dry you can assemble your boards. Using scissors cut the hanging cord of your bottom 2 panels and thread some of the wooden beads through the cord. Then tie the cords to the board above until they are all attached.
Step 5 - Hang to finish!
