Step 1 - From one fabric cut a 46cm square for the cushion front and two 33cm x 46cm rectangles for the cushion back.
Note - as the fabrics are directional cut the rectangles side by side across the width of fabric.
Step 2 - For the top back section of the cover take one 33cm x 46cm rectangle and to sew a double hem along the bottom 46cm long side, fold and press under 1cm then another 1cm and topstitch hem in place. Press well.
Step 3 - For the bottom back section of the cover take one 33cm x 46cm rectangle and to sew a double hem along the top 46cm long side, fold and press under 1cm then another 1cm and topstitch hem in place. Press well.
Step 4 - With cushion front right side up and pattern facing to the top, place hemmed top back section (step 2) face down on top, aligning top and side raw edges with hemmed edge towards the centre. Pin in place.
Step 5 - Place the hemmed bottom back section (step 3) face down on top aligning bottom and side edges with hemmed edge overlapping the top section in the centre. Pin in place.
Step 6 - Sew together around all four sides using 1cm seam allowance. Clip corners and overlock or zigzag seams to neaten. Turn cover right side out and press flat.
Step 7 - Press well and place insert into cover with back edges overlapping. Repeat to make as many cushion covers as desired.
