INSTRUCTIONS

Christmas Cookies - Three Tier Tree

Step 1 - Prepare biscuit mix as per packet directions to create dough.

Step 2 - Cut out three sizes of round cookies that will stay nicely as pictured. Bake as per packet directions and leave to cool.

Step 3 - Prepare a green buttercream and transfer to a piping bag with a star nozzle. Pipe in a circular motion on the largest cookie. Place medium cookie on top and then repeat, finishing the stack with a single star piped on the smallest cookie. Top with sprinkles.

Christmas Cookies - Squiggle Christmas Tree

Step 1 - Prepare biscuit mix as per packet directions to create dough.

Step 2 - Cut out circles and bake as per packet directions. Once biscuits are cool, roll out fondant and cut out using the same size cutter.

Step 3 - Affix the fondant to the cookie using a small amount of water on the back of the fondant.

Step 4 - Prepare a green buttercream and transfer to a piping bag with a small round nozzle. Pipe a tree like squiggle onto the fondant and top with sprinkles.

Tip - Get creative and experiment with a range of edible sprinkles. For example, edible cachous would be great use as baubles or s.

Christmas Cookies - Ombre Christmas Tree

Step 1 - Prepare biscuit mix as per packet directions. Cut out tree shapes using a cutter, bake as per packet directions and leave to cool.

Step 2 - Prepare four bowls of white buttercream. Leave one white, then start with a small amount of food colouring on the second. Increase the amount of food colouring for the third and forth bowl to create a gradient colour effect.

Step 3 - Transfer each colour to a piping bag and cut the end off. Starting with the darkest colour pipe 4-6 dots along the base of the tree. Using an offset palette knife, spread the icing towards the top of the tree in one motion (working with the cookie upside down will be easiest). Repeat with other colours, working to white at the top of the tree.

Step 4 - Top with sprinkles and try experimenting with different colour gradients!
