1st rnd: Ch 2. *(Yoh and draw up a loop in ring) 3 times. Yoh and draw through all loops on hook - cluster made. Ch 3. Rep from

* 5 times more. Join with sl st to top of first cluster. Fasten off.

2nd rnd: Join B with sl st to any ch-3 sp. Ch 2. (Cluster. Ch 3) twice in same sp as sl st. *(Cluster. Ch 3) twice in next ch-3 sp. Rep from

5th rnd: With E, ch 2. *1 htr in each htr to next ch-2 sp. (2 htr. Ch 2. 2 htr) in next ch-2 sp. Rep from * 5 times more. 1 htr in each htr to end of rnd. Join F with sl st to first htr. Break E.

6th rnd: With F, ch 1. *1 dc in each htr to next ch-2 sp. (1 dc. Ch 1. 1 dc) in next ch-2 sp. Rep from * 5 times more. 1 dc in each htr to end of rnd. Join with sl st to first dc. Fasten off. With RS of Motifs facing each other and F, work 1 row of dc to crochet Motifs tog as shown on Chart, noting at each corner of bottom edge, one side of Motif will be folded in half and crocheted tog as shown on Assembly Diagram.

Top border: 1st rnd: With RS facing, join F with sl st to any ch-1 sp at top point. Sl st in next dc. Ch 1. 1 dc in same sp as last sl st. *1 dc in each of next 4 dc. 1 htr in each of next 5 dc. 1 Tr in each of next 3 dc. 1 dtr in each of next 2 dc. (Yoh) twice and draw up a loop in last st of working Motif. (Yoh and draw through 2 loops on hook) twice. (Yoh) twice and draw up a loop in first dc of next Motif. (Yoh and draw through 2 loops on hook) twice. Yoh and draw through all loops on hook - dtr2tog made. 1 dtr in each of next 2 dc. 1 Tr in each of next 3 dc. 1 htr in each of next 5 dc. 1 dc in each of next 5 dc. Miss next ch-1 sp. 1 dc in next dc. Rep from * around. Join with sl st to first dc.

2nd rnd: Ch 1. 1 dc in same sp as last sl st. *1 dc in each of next 4 dc. 1 htr in each of next 21 sts. 1 dc in each of next 6 dc. Rep from * around. Join with sl st to first dc. Fasten off.

Straps: (make 2). With 1 strand each of E and F held tog, ch 84.

1st rnd: 1 Tr in 4th ch from hook. 1 Tr in each ch to end of ch. Working into rem loops along opposite side of ch, work 1 Tr in each ch to end of ch. Ch 1. Do not fasten off.

Fold Strap in half lengthwise with RS facing each other (WS of last rnd will show). Join Strap by working 1 sl st through tops of corresponding Tr and foundation ch to end of row. Fasten off. Sew Straps to WS 4" [10 cm] in from side edges of Bag (see picture).

Optional: Lining: Cut fabric to 16" x 35" [40.5 x 89 cm].

Fold in half lengthwise and stitch sides tog using a 1/2" [1 cm] seam allowance. Fold over 1/2" [1 cm] seam allowance along top edge of lining and sew 1" [2.5 cm] below top edge of Bag.
