FELT EGG POCKETS
LEVEL: EASY
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- Coloured felt squares
- Ric Rac trim
- Perle thread
- Pins, scissors, Washable pencil/marker, Hand needle
- Optional - Craft glue or hot glue gun
INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1 - Using templates provided, cut per pocket - 1 x pocket back & 1 x pocket front.
Step 2 - Cut a piece/s of ric rac trim to the width of the front pocket piece.
Hand sew or glue trim to the front of the front pocket piece.
Step 3 - Pin the front of the pocket to the back of the pocket aligning base and side edges.
- Blanket stitch pieces together by stitching around all outer edges
OR
- Sew pieces together by hand sewing a long running stitch around the outer edges of the front pocket but keeping the top edge of the pocket free from the back of the pocket with the stitching only on the front piece.
