HEART PAPER CHAIN WALL ART
Level: Beginner
What you'll need:
- Paper Trimmer
- Hot glue gun
- Glue sticks
- Wooden dowel or any rod
- Paper:
- Light pink
- Coral
- White
- Hot Pink
Instructions
Reference the downloadable project sheet for project pattern diagrams.
- Slice the paper in strips with dimensions 1/2" by 3 1/2"
- For each paper loop, overlap each paper strip by about a 1/2" and secure with glue to form a closed loop
- To make the paper chains, loop the next paper strip through and secure with glue. Continue until you've completed a strand and begin the next one.
- For the heart, we used the below design: you may edit or change this as per the size of your wall art.
- For this artwork, each chain requires 40 x strips of paper to make 20 visible paper links. There are 13 lines, so we need a total of 520 strips across all colours. This wall art is roughly 30 inches high and 15 inches wide, depending on the size of the paper strip.
- When you are done, slide all the strands onto a wooden dowel and hang on the wall.
- Your wall art is complete!
