Find the Right Style Custom Blinds for Every Window

Different types of blinds will suit different window and door situations; for instance, you may prefer to have a simple roller blind in a bathroom or kitchen, more elaborate style Roman blinds on your landing or stair window, timber Venetian blinds to grace your dining room, and vertical blinds to provide protection for your furnishings in front of you garden windows or patio doors. Our sales staff will be able to advise you on the various options that are suitable.

Make It Uniquely Yours with Fabrics, Colours, and Features

With custom-made blinds, you can personalise your window dressings in a number of different ways. You can choose the function of your blinds with blockout, light filter or sheer fabrics or opt for a focus on the style with a range of colours, textures and finishes to choose from. In addition to the design and style, our custom-made blinds service also extends to include a number of features you can choose to incorporate into your blinds. The features of custom-made blinds will depend on the type of blind you choose. Popular features and styles you may consider include:

• Automation and motorisation to fully control your blinds at the touch of a button
• Blockout blinds for the ultimate privacy and sun blocking to save on energy bills
• Venetian blinds for versatility - available in beautiful faux wood colourways
• Easy-to-use custom roller blinds in a range of modern colours

Custom-Made Blinds for Every Room and Budget

The rooms in your home have differing needs when it comes to window furnishings. Bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and living rooms all differ in terms of their lighting needs but also in terms of their environment. Where bedrooms may require a blockout blind for a peaceful sleep, living rooms can benefit from the light filtering benefits of custom cellular blinds, custom vertical blinds and plantation shutters. On the other hand, wet areas in your home, such as your bathroom and kitchen, will need blinds that are moisture-resistant, able to withstand the humidity of these areas.

Wanting blinds for your outdoor entertainment areas? At Spotlight, you can also enjoy a selection of custom-made outdoor blinds. Explore our range of custom made blinds and discover a wide range of blinds suitable for every room in your home.

How to Measure for a Perfect Fit

If you choose to supply your own measurements for your Made-to-order blinds, they cannot be refunded in the case of incorrect measurements, so it is important to ensure that you have all the right dimensions before ordering. On the website, you will find handy measurement guides complete with an order form, which will help you to take the exact measurements required. Simply download your form, follow the easy measuring guide and bring your form into the store. Plus, receive a 5% discount on your order when you bring your own measurements. If you are unsure, our consultants can complete a comprehensive, free in-home measure and quote for you.

Can You Install Blinds Yourself?

To ensure correct installation, our service also includes expert installation for custom-made blinds. For DIY solutions, you can shop ready-made blinds or check out our Cut to Size blinds.

Are Motorised Blinds Right For You?

Motorised blinds bring complete convenience to your window coverings. We specialise in convenient motorised blinds which help to streamline the functionality of your windows. There is a range of motorisation options to choose from, such as basic remote-controlled motorisation to a fully customised digital system where you can control your blinds from your smartphone. These blinds are able to be operated by remote control or, in some cases, an application on your phone, so you can enjoy seamless operation of your blinds.

Ideal for rooms with difficult-to-reach blinds, such as stairwells or spaces with high windows, motorised blinds are also great for people with limited mobility, as these blinds allow for easy operation from anywhere in their room. You can operate your blinds from your bed in the morning and even set a timer to close your blinds when you are not home. Discuss your needs with your Made to Measure consultant and transform your home with custom automated blinds.
