How to Inflate Your Foil Letter Balloons

Inflating foil letter balloons requires a different approach than regular latex balloons.

For air-filled balloons, use a balloon pump or straw to slowly fill the balloon with air. Simply insert the straw or nozzle into the valve and pump or blow until the balloon is fully inflated. If you're using an electric balloon pump, make sure to inflate slowly and carefully, as foil balloons are more delicate.

If you want your letter balloons to float, fill them with helium. Attach the nozzle of a helium tank to the valve and slowly release helium until the balloon is firm but not overfilled. For longer-lasting helium balloons, consider using Hi-Float to extend their float time.

After inflating, you'll obviously need to seal the balloon. Most foil balloons have a self-sealing valve, so once inflated, remove the nozzle or straw and press the valve closed.
