How Much Fabric Do You Need for Curtains?

To measure your windows for a recess fit, you'll need to measure the width and height from inside your window architrave. If you're after a face fit, measure the window from one side of the architrave to the other side of the architrave, taking your measurements from the outer edge of the architrave on each side. Then, measure the drop from the top of the architrave edge to the bottom of the sill or the floor. Make sure to add an allowance for gathers and hems.
