Shop Quality Artificial Christmas Trees at Spotlight

At Spotlight, we have a wonderful selection of artificial Christmas trees to suit every home decor style and budget. While there's nothing as grand as a real pine Christmas tree, they come with a few downsides as well: they can be messy, hard to put up, and they eventually turn brown and dry. With Spotlight's selection of gorgeous faux Christmas trees, you can bypass these pitfalls while enjoying a plush Christmas tree that you can reuse year in, year out. Our artificial Christmas trees are clean, colourful and easy to both put up and store away. Choose from the fantastic range of frosted Christmas trees, pop-up Christmas trees, mini Christmas trees, pre-lit Christmas trees and coloured Christmas trees today.

How To Choose The Best Christmas Tree?

• Christmas tree size & height: The dimensions of your Christmas tree should be one of the first factors you account for when choosing your tree. Ensure that the width and height of the fluffed up Christmas tree will fit comfortably into the desired space in your home.
• Christmas tree colour: Once you've identified the optimal Christmas tree size, you'll also need to think about your decorating theme. Green Christmas trees are a traditional choice, but you can also select more modern options including white and pink.
• Pre-lit Christmas trees: Finally, think about whether you want to invest in a pre-lit or LED Christmas tree. These trees feature integrated Christmas lighting for the utmost convenience when decorating. Simply skip the step of wrangling Christmas lights and get straight to adorning your tree with baubles and tinsel.

Christmas Trees FAQs

How to fluff a Christmas tree?

Make your artificial Christmas tree look lush, full and luxurious with a little "fluffing". When you first remove your artificial Xmas tree from the box, you'll probably find it looks a little compacted - but this is easily fixed, it's just a matter of opening out all the branches and tips to emulate a full and natural look. Remember to start at the Christmas tree base and work your way up and bend every tip and branch out in a different direction.

When to put up a Christmas tree?

Many Aussie households will put up and decorate their Christmas tree on December 1st, as a way of marking the start of the festive celebrations. Other popular dates are the first Sunday in December or the second Saturday in December, with many different traditions worldwide. Some choose to put their Christmas tree up at the start of Advent - the fourth Sunday before Christmas Day.

How to decorate a Christmas tree?

Whether you're going for a traditional look for your tree or something more sleek and modern, this year, there are a few decorating tips you can follow to ensure your Christmas tree is a festive masterpiece:

• Choose a colour palette or theme to create a stylishly cohesive and coordinated finish.
• Add your Christmas tree lights before your Christmas tree decorations. Space them evenly from bottom to top, making sure to nestle some inside the branches to add dimension.
• Distribute baubles and ornaments evenly over the tree, again starting at the base and working up to the top.
• Regularly step back from the Christmas tree to identify any spaces that may need filling.
