Host Peaceful Garden Parties With Stylish Summer Chairs
Elevate your seating arrangement for your outdoor area by revamping your outdoor chairs. Talented DIY-er Jaharn, also known on Instagram by her username @jaharnquinn, demonstrated how she was able to breathe new life into these secondhand chairs. Starting out by giving the chairs a quick clean, Jaharn used the KOO Houndstooth 140cm Upholstery Fabric from our upholstery fabric range and wadding to create comfortable yet stylish coverings for these chairs.
To begin, Jaharn measured the seat and added an additional 15cm allowance on each side, then cut the upholstery fabric and wadding accordingly. With a staple gun, Jaharn secured the fabric and wadding to the chair. For the perfect finishing touch, Jaharn also placed a smaller piece of wadding and fabric over the top of the chair for a complementary decorative accent. Her hot tip? Be careful not to stretch the fabric, otherwise, this may result in the fabric rippling.

Crafter Sophie, known on Instagram by her username @halyardhome, makes creating new cushion covers for your outdoor area look simple! Sophie measured her cushions, leaving room to wrap the fabric around the side for a nice, snug fit. She then sewed up the corners and added elastic to create stylish covers that effortlessly fit her current cushions while also being easy to remove, making cleaning and maintenance a breeze.
