Serve Santa Classic Christmas Snacks With a Personalised Santa Tray
Create a magical Christmas tradition with this Personalised Santa Tray Project! Using your Cricut cutting machine and Cricut vinyl, customise a tray with dedicated spaces for Santa's milk and cookies, carrots for reindeer, and a heartfelt sign-off from the kids. Perfect for Christmas Eve, this easy-to-make project adds a personal touch to your festive celebrations and becomes a keepsake your family will treasure year after year.
What You'll Need
The materials and machinery you'll need to recreate the project include:
- Cricut Smart Cutting Machine
- Cricut Vinyl
- Cricut Transfer Tape
- Cricut Weeding Tool and Scraper
Creating the Personalised Santa Tray
Open the design space. Click 'customise' to open design on 'canvas' tab, so you can resize according to your blank. Edit the design to include kid's names. Add any other elements or text as you wish. When you are happy with your design, click 'make' on top tool bar and follow the prompts to connect your Cricut smart cutting machine.
Click 'Material Load Type' dropdown and then choose 'Without Mat' for Matless Smart Vinyl or 'With Mat' for Vinyl. Then choose your material and follow prompts to load material into your Cricut smart cutting machine. Follow prompts and watch as your Cricut machine cuts out the design. When it's finished, unload material.
Remove the negative smart vinyl from the backing with a weeding tool. Simply hook the weeding tool into the vinyl in an area outside the design, then carefully peel it off to reveal your design ready to be transferred onto your Spotlight blanks.
Cut transfer tape to size and place carefully over the vinyl decals. Turn over the backing and burnish with scraper to ensure transfer tape adheres to the vinyl without any air bubbles. Flip back over and carefully peel back transfer tape low and slow. The vinyl will stick to the transfer tape, ready to be placed onto your candle lid. Repeat the same transfer process for the vase. Put everything together on the tray and load up with milk, cookies and carrots for Christmas Eve enjoyment.

Fa La La - Merry & Bright DIY Cardstock Decorations
Create this impactful custom Merry & Bright Fa La La tree or mantle decoration this Christmas! Sure to impress your guests, you can make it in minutes with your Cricut smart cutting machine, some cardstock and either paddle pop sticks or dowels. This project involves cutting out vibrant letters to spell "Fa La La", infusing a whimsical charm into your decorations. This Cricut Christmas project is perfect for both living rooms and teachers looking to add some festive spirit to their classrooms.

Creating Fa La La Merry & Bright Letters
Creating this custom Fa La La for Christmas with Cricut is easy. Start by selecting the pre-made design in Cricut Design Space and 'customise' to resize or add to the project. When you have finished your design, click 'Make' and follow the in-program prompts to cut your design, choose 'on mat' for cardstock. The Cricut Smart Cutting Machine will then cut out your design for each piece of cardstock.
Carefully remove your pieces of cardstock from the Cricut cutting mat and assemble the layers with glue. Use a piece of dowel or sticks to connect letters together at the bottom. Jolly & Joy Personalised Baubles
Create these personalised baubles to hang on the tree, or to take your gift wrapping to the next level! These versatile Cricut Christmas ornaments offer the perfect finishing touch to your Christmas decorations and your festive gift presentations. You could even use them as decorations on your Christmas dining table to label place settings. After Christmas, you can use them as initial bag tags or future gifting opportunities.

- Cricut Transfer Tape
- Cricut Tool Kit
- Round Bauble
- Teardrop Bauble

Creating Personalised Baubles
Creating personalised baubles for Christmas with Cricut is easy. Start with the pre-made design in Cricut Design Space and select 'customise' to resize or to change the initials or designs to your liking. When you have finished your design, click 'Make' and follow the in-program prompts to cut your design, choose 'Matless Smart Vinyl'.
The Cricut Smart Cutting Machine will then cut out your design from the Cricut Smart Vinyl. Carefully remove the negative from your design with the Cricut Weeding tool. Cut the Cricut transfer tape to the size of the design and use the Cricut Scraper to adhere the transfer tape to the design.
Once adhered, remove the design from the liner and line up the design on the transfer tape over the bauble. Burnish using a scraper to apply the vinyl and carefully peel back the transfer tape to reveal your design on the bauble. Repeat with the next colour of vinyl. Then attach to a gift for a personal touch, place on your Christmas tree or tie around a napkin as a placeholder.

Creating the Jolly & Joy Custom Ribbon Project
Creating a custom ribbon for Christmas with Cricut is easy. Using the pre-made design in Cricut Design Space, select 'customise' to resize or to change the designs to your liking. When you have finished your design, click 'Make' and follow the in-program prompts to cut your design and then choose 'Matless Smart Iron-On'. Place it shiny side down on the tray. The Cricut Smart Cutting Machine will then cut out your design from the Cricut Smart Iron-On.
Carefully remove the negative space from your design with the Cricut Weeding tool. It's then time to press! Check out cricut.com/heatguide for the best EasyPress Mini settings. Once the Mini light is green, place the ribbon on the Cricut Heat Mat and place the Cricut Smart-Iron design on the ribbon. Press the design onto the ribbon and then carefully remove the backing when cool to reveal your design. Then attach your crafted ribbon to a gift for a personal touch, or tie around a napkin or glass as a place setting at your festive meal.
